Regional Networks (NIK)

For parents and involved healthcare professionals

The regional Integral Child Care Networks (NIK) are for parents of children who need intensive and/or child palliative care and for the care professionals involved around the family. A NIK is a network of experienced (care) professionals. Together they ensure that families get the help they need, now and later. Not only for the child that needs care, also for parents, brothers & sisters. The Netherlands has seven regional Integrated Child Care Networks. Together they have national coverage and all seven NIK work together a lot.

Contact

As a parent, do you want support from a Network Integral Child Care? Please contact the NIK in your region. The NIK also supports healthcare providers. As a healthcare professional, do you want to register a family with an NIK, or do you have any questions? Feel free to contact us.

Talk about care & treatment together

Talk about care & treatment together

As a parent of a sick child, you want to receive the care and treatment that suits you and your family. This applies when things are going well given the circumstances, but certainly also when things are not going well. That is why it is important for the child, parents and caregivers to share with each other how you look at the future.
