Roundtable discussion about the results of the Domain Transcending Indication Pilot

An inspiring afternoon.

Round table discussion

At the end of January, a round table meeting was organized in Harmelen to discuss the results of the pilot with those involved.

The aim of the pilot was to investigate how parents can be relieved of the burden of organizing and assessing care, support and the high administrative burden that the divisions of legislative frameworks entail. The pilot has provided insight into the bottlenecks, challenges and solutions in the indication area within pediatric palliative care.

Input for follow-up

During the meeting, experiences were exchanged from different perspectives on Domain Transcending Indication. The continuation of this was also discussed. The urgency of customization in pediatric palliative care is clear and the possibilities have been explored. After the roundtables, a snack and a drink was followed by a discussion about the benefits and challenges of this important subject. It was an inspiring afternoon in which good input was collected for the continuation of the pilot. And it makes us realize how valuable it is to reflect on past successes.
