Join the PALLIAKID survey: enhancing paediatric palliative care across Europe

Join the PALLIAKID survey to help improve the quality of paediatric palliative care across diverse healthcare systems in Europe.

Invitation to Participate in the PALLIAKID Survey

We invite you to participate in an electronic survey for healthcare professionals caring for children with palliative or end-of-life care needs. This survey is part of PALLIAKID, a comprehensive, multi-institutional European project in paediatric palliative care (EU Grant Number 101137169). PALLIAKID focuses on adapting and exploring novel interventions to enhance the well-being and quality of life of children and young adults with palliative and end-of-life care needs across diverse healthcare systems in Europe.

Understanding paediatric palliative care needs

To ensure appropriate paediatric palliative care (PPC), healthcare providers and the tools they use must be sensitive to cross-cultural differences and variations across healthcare contexts and tailored to suit paediatric populations. Accordingly, we seek to gain insight into how you assess the current and future needs and strengths of children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Survey participation details

If you choose to participate in the survey, it will take approximately 20 minutes to complete, and you can leave the survey at any time. All the data collected and processed will be kept anonymous and confidential. Your answers will be stored on a password-protected database at Erasmus University Medical Centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and they will not be shared with anyone outside the PALLIAKID survey team. An anonymized summary of the results will be made available to all participants at the end of the study.
