Signpost Integral Child Care

As a parent of a seriously ill child, a child with a life-shortening, life-threatening or complex somatic (medical) disorder, you are suddenly confronted with the 'wonderful world' of care, institutions and regulations. Often this world seems to be an impenetrable forest. This Guide helps to create an overview and points the way to appropriate care and various counters, along rules and funding.

Tool kit

In the toolkit you will find various products, information and shared experience stories that can support you in having a child who is not (anymore) getting better. With the aim of supporting parents from (the search for) a diagnosis and letting them know that they are not alone and do not have to do everything alone. After all, many parents have already taken the path of pediatric palliative care before them.

"Handles you need to be able to arrange care a little better."

The Guide is an initiative of the Integrated Child Care Networks and was created in collaboration with the Knowledge Center for Palliative Care for Children.
