National work agenda for palliative care for children 2022 to 2024

The national Work Agenda for Child Palliative Care 2022 to 2024 contains steps we want to take to improve child palliative care.

It contains bottlenecks that children, parents and professionals experience every day, divided into five topics: organization of care, availability of care, funding, knowledge & skills and tools. A number of these activities are also reflected in the Strategic Multi-Year Plan 2022-2024 of the Knowledge Center for Palliative Care for Children and in the National Program Palliative Care II . We have drawn up the work agenda in collaboration with both sector and professional associations within the child care sector and with, among others, the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa), Health Insurers of the Netherlands (ZN) and the Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG). Together we are committed to the implementation of the work agenda.
