Forms of care

Pediatric palliative care offers various forms, each complementing the other to provide the best possible support for your child and family. It's much more than just terminal care. It's care focused on improving the quality of life. It considers the whole child—their medical, psychological, social, and life-giving needs.

Sometimes medical treatment takes center stage, for example, pain management or symptom reduction. At other times, it's all about rest, emotional support, or help with questions like "How do we cope?" or "What gives meaning now?"
